Bayou from Omeeka's first litter has prematched as a facility dog! Way to go Bayou!

Carlita

It's been a blast having Carlita for the past week. She is small (weighs only 44 lbs), full of vim and vigor, loves to retrieve, a great swimmer, fearless, fun, and oh yes, very very very CUTE.

It's Official

That's right, Omeeka's pregnancy has been confirmed!! Little O and her gal pal, Cara, had a date today with Dr. Ruth and her ultrasound machine. There were 5 little pups visible on the ultrasound, now we will wait for the xray to confirm a more exact number. Little O has already started to grow even though she's not eating all that much!! It was nice to have a quick visit with her while Carlita is here visiting. From left to right, Omeeka, Cara, and Carlita (aka red collar girl). Exciting times ahead.

Omeeka and Camden

Yes, that's right, Omeeka has been bred to the big yellow lab known as Camden. Most likely she has puppies on board and will whelp them on November 30! Wooowhooo! Omeeka's good buddy Cara (aka Caro) is also due on November 30th. Could be a very busy day. Stay tuned!

Omeeka's Visiting

Sweet Little "O" is visiting for a couple of days. She is having so much fun swimming, sleeping on our bed, and romping with the other dogs. We had a great time with her at a breeder caretaker friend's open house yesterday. She had a really fun time before she "tuckered out". Looking forward her to next litter, maybe in late November or early December.

Grandma Chandra

Omeeka's mom, Chandra, aka Shawn is visiting for a few days. She is really enjoying her retirement!! You can see where Omeeka gets her love of the water . . .

Carlin Checks In
