Everything is ready, linoleum is on the floor, whelping pool is clean, newspapers are unfolded and ready to line the pool, and best of all, Cindy is almost home. Once she arrives and gets some rest, Omeeka can get the puppies out!
Omeeka follows me everywhere I go in the house and backyard. She has lost her appetite, I think because her belly is fully of babies! When she does squeeze in some food, it is always followed by some BIG burps. Maybe she has heartburn?? Hard to say.
Jay has turned on the pool's solar heat so when little O is ready to swim, the water won't be too cold. Oh, yep, she's already been in the pool, but so far we've been able to keep her from diving in. We let her swim for a minute or two and then dry her off. She would like to do more but is a good sport about getting out.
Omeeka is such a nice girl, we love to have her here.
